LGPS Contribution Calculator

This contribution calculator is designed to give you guidance about the contribution rate that you will be paying to the LGPS from 1 April 2010 and requires you to input your annual "full time equivalent" pay.

Fill in the box below, avoiding inputting any commas, and press the CALCULATE button

£
If you are a part-time employee, remember to enter the pay for a full-time employee in the same post. For example, if you work 17.5 hours in a job and get paid £15000 but a full-time employee works 35 hours and gets paid £30000, enter £30000 as your pay.

This is your estimated gross contribution rate correct to one decimal place. It does not take account of tax and NI breaks which reduce the cost to you. Your actual contribution rate to the LGPS for 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011 will be based on your full time equivalent pay on 31 March 2010.
