"Council welcomes this local authority's significant achievements over the last four years, including the £250 million '4R's Programme', the Glasgow Guarantee, delivery of 2014 Commonwealth Games and a legacy for the people of Glasgow, and securing the £1.13 billion City Deal; is committed to building on this record; thanks the dedicated, hardworking staff who help deliver services and initiatives in communities across Glasgow; resolves to continue to protect the most vulnerable, encourage economic growth and deliver first rate public services; looks forward to working with the new Scottish Government in the best interests of Glasgow." View Papers
(b)By Councillor David McDonald:-

"Glaswegians have been proud to welcome refugees to their city, to show solidarity with and humanity towards those affected by crisis and conflict wherever they have come from.

Council notes the excellent work of Refuweegee, a community group established by Selina Hales, which provides a welcome pack to refugees as they arrive in the great city of Glasgow.

To recognise the work of Refuweegee, and to welcome those who have sought shelter in our city, Council agrees to volunteer whatever support is required to ensure that refugees in Glasgow can be proud to call themselves citizens during their stay in Glasgow." View Papers
(c)By Councillor Dr Martin Bartos:-

"This Council notes the difficulties facing residents and small organisations (including local high street businesses) with onstreet parking in many parts of the city. This Council further takes account of the increasing evidence of the adverse impact of air pollution from traffic exhaust on the health of its citizens.

Noting that Glasgow has made no adjustment to its permit charging regimes since 2006, Council agrees to review the parking permit charging policy in order to encourage responsible car usage by preferentially supporting low and zero-emission vehicles and taking account of the needs of residents and small local organisations.

Council therefore instructs the Executive Director of LES and the Executive Director of DRS to present a joint paper to both relevant policy development committees by year end 2016 with options to revise the permit tariffs to preferentially encourage cleaner cars and consider different needs of households, charities and SMEs." View Papers
(d)By Councillor John Kane:-

"Council acknowledges the commitment and dedication of Glasgow's NHS staff; notes the Scottish Government's target is 95% to be seen and either admitted, transferred or discharged within four hours; understands that in the week ending 27 March 2016, 83% of patients were treated within 4 hours at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and 78.7% at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary; recognises the importance of tackling Glasgow's health inequalities; welcomes the establishment of the Health and Inequality Commission; and calls on all Glasgow MSPs to work together with the City Council to ensure that the people and communities of Glasgow have access to a world-class health service that meets their needs and makes our city a healthier home for all." View Papers
(e)By Councillor John Letford:-

"Council notes the recent report by the widely respected Glasgow Centre for Population Health (GCPH), "Glasgow: Health in a Changing City".

Council recognises that the paper offers a "descriptive study of the changes in health, demography, housing, socioeconomic circumstances and environmental factors in Glasgow over the last 20 years". It also highlights areas for future discussion and highlights potential policy implications.

Council will endeavour to work with the new Scottish Government in a constructive and collegiate fashion, to the collective benefit of all Glaswegians. Consequently, this Council commends the report to Scottish Ministers for consideration." View Papers
(f)By Councillor Archie Graham:-
