We want the people and communities of Glasgow to get involved in leaving a lasting legacy for the city in the run up to Glasgow 2014 and beyond.
There are many ways that people can get involved, whether through volunteering, being more active in your day to day life, healthy living, cultural activities, getting your family or community involved in one of our existing legacy projects or setting up your own community project, activity or event.
The council may be able to help you to get your project idea up and running by:
- Providing you with support and assistance
- Signposting you to funding sources
- Providing you with the use of our legacy logo, ‘A games legacy for Glasgow’ to use on your project, event or activity marketing and promotional material.
The process to apply to use the brand ‘A games legacy for Glasgow is easy:
- Complete and submit a short Online Application telling us about your project or initiative.
- Once we have reviewed your application, we’ll contact you to let you know what support we can provide for your project.
- We will then provide you with the logo artwork and usage guidelines.
