The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games is so much more than 11 days of sport.
The council anticipates that hosting the Games will bring a long lasting legacy to the city and people of Glasgow.
In preparing the city for the Games, the council is leading on 20 major infrastructure projects.
Through these projects, the physical landscape of the city is set to alter dramatically.
The social landscape of the city will also change, with the Games an impetus for raising aspirations, driving achievement and contributing to a more positive future for Glasgow and Glaswegians.
Glasgow City Council is leading the partnership approach to the legacy in Glasgow.
Our ambitions will involve local people and businesses from across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
A GAMES LEGACY FOR GLASGOW is about achieving our ambitions in the run up to and after 2014.
We want you to be part of it.
