Lord Provost’s Fundraising Burns Supper 2012
The Rt Hon the Lord Provost of Glasgow, Councillor Bob Winter, hosted the 16th Burns Supper in the Hilton Hotel, William Street, Glasgow. The night was a resounding success with guests digging deep to raise over £87,000 for charity.
The event was attended by over 830 guests from the business, political and media world with proceeds going to charities at home and abroad - the Lord Provost's Malawi Fund, the Lord Provost's Children's Fund and Resurge Africa.

• Co-Director of the Centre for Robert Burns Studies, University of Glasgow, Dr Kirsteen McCue
• Actor, writer and producer, David Maclennan
• Poet, Liz Lochhead
• Student from Musical Theatre Course, Knightswood Secondary, Stacey O'Shea
Since 2003, the Supper has raised over £790,000 for local and overseas beneficiaries.
