General Formal Investigation into Regeneration
As you will be aware, the Commission for Racial Equality launched a formal investigation into regeneration on 7th September 2006.
The call for evidence is open to everyone:
- public sector
- private regeneration companies
- professional involved in physical regeneration projects
- individuals in the neighbourhoods affected by physical regeneration
- and from the community and voluntary groups which have an interest.
To explain why it is important for us to hear from all sectors we have recently tailored our general call for evidence to address four categories:
- Individuals (those who have been affected by a physical regeneration project in their area or who have worked on regeneration projects)
- Members of voluntary and community groups which have an interest in putting forward their views
- Those working on physical regeneration projects in the private sector and members of the various professions involved in delivering such projects
- Those working in the public sector.
Our call for evidence can be found on the Commission for Racial Equality Website, where there is a link to each of the targeted categories.
