Digital Enterprise Glasgow


Digital Enterprise Glasgow provides rent-free office facilities and intensive tailored business support services for pre-start and start-up businesses in Glasgow engaged in digital technology and e-commerce.

 

The project has been in operation for just over two years with six client businesses 'graduating' from the incubators.  These companies have since secured a number of commercial contracts and are operating from commercial premises without any public sector intervention.

 

The project is currently delivered through four hubs located at Strathclyde University Incubator, City of Glasgow College, Glasgow University, Cardonald College, with Stow College coming on board shortly. 

The services provided by Digital Enterprise Glasgow are designed to accelerate business growth and provide access to an extensive network of contacts whose experience can assist in informed decision making early stage planning.

 

Digital Enterprise Glasgow will provide potential entrepreneurs with a central hub for idea generation, fertilisation and growth.  Clients will benefit from six months rent free office facilities and services including:

 

  • office space
  • IT equipment and
  • A dedicated Business Development Facilitator who will help formulate their ideas into a clear strategy and encourage the use of existing business support networks to implement their plans.
