Priority will be given to businesses entering or existing in cluster industries for example electronics, biotechnology, food and drink, creative industries, financial and business services. The project will also support manufacturing and other service industries, where appropriate.
Examples of eligible expenditure include:
- Test marketing/market research
- Promotional literature/marketing
- Web design and development
- Minor property alterations
- Equipment
- Training
Other eligible project expenditure may include integrated packages of support which link to:
- Micro loan funding
- Training and Get Into Enterprise (GiE)
- Some elements of aftercare eg mentoring
- The project will also provide advice, information and signposting services.
Retail operations are not eligible.
