The Report of Representations and Proposed Changes to the Plan was approved by the Council’s Executive Committee on Friday 22 February 2008, and consists of:
-
A summary of each of the representations received during the consultation on the Finalised Draft Plan, undertaken in 2007;
-
The Council’s response to each of these representations, an intimation of whether the Council proposes to change the Finalised Draft Plan as a result of the representations raised and, where this is the case, what the proposed change(s) is/are;
-
A series of maps to illustrate those changes proposed to the maps included in the Finalised Draft Plan (Development Policy Principles Maps, Environmental policy Designations Maps, etc.); and
-
A number of new and substantially revised policies and development guides, and a new energy section, which have been prepared in response to the representations received or which have been necessitated by, for example, new national planning policy.
The Report of Representations and Proposed Changes is being made available on the website in two formats:
Commentator Order, which contains summaries of all the representations made on the Finalised Draft Plan, together with the Council’s responses to these issues, organised by Commentator Number (1 through to 253). This information is provided in 4 files, covering commentators 1 to 103, 104 to 165, 166 to 194, 195 to 253 respectively. Also included within these files, are any changes proposed to maps and plans in response to representations made by that commentator. In addition, a fifth file contains proposed changes to the Draft Plan arising out of the need, e.g., to take account of recent Government guidance, ministerial modifications to the Glasgow and the Clyde Valley Joint Structure Plan, correct text/mapping errors, etc (Commentator 1000). Note that changes to the Proposals Map, Development Planning Framework Map and DG/TRANS 4 Clyde Fastlink Map are not included in this format but are included as separate files.
Plan Order, which contains summaries of all the representations made on the Finalised Draft Plan together with the Council’s responses to these issues, organised by Plan order. All of the representations dealing with the People section of the Plan are grouped together, for example, and within this grouping, where possible, they are further grouped by page number and paragraph number. This file also contains proposed changes to the Draft Plan arising out of the need, e.g., to take account of recent Government guidance, ministerial modifications to the Glasgow and the Clyde Valley Joint Structure Plan, correct text/mapping errors, etc. These are, again, included at the end of the file as Commentator 1000. When using this format, please note that all of the proposed map changes are included as separate files.
Supporting these two formats is an additional file, which contains the proposed new energy section, new and substantially amended policies and new and substantially amended Development Guides.
