Maps

You can find out information on sites or property by using the
City Plan Maps

Part 1 of the Plan (the Development Strategy) is supported by a PROPOSALS MAP showing the location of the proposals contained in the Development Strategy BUILT FORM MAP showing the broad residential form of the City.  This map defines the boundaries of the City Centre, the Inner Urban Area and the Outer Urban Area.  Policy RES 1: Residential Density relies in the Built Form Map.

Part 2 of the Plan (Development Policies and Design Guidance) is supported by the DEVELOPMENT POLICY PRINCIPLES AND ENVIRONMENTAL  POLICY DESIGNATIONS  MAPS .  Maps showing the Strategic Industry and Business Areas and Centres (town centres) are also included.

Some of the information shown on the maps did not appear on the hard copy of the City Plan.  Environmental policy designations (Ancient Monuments, Listed Buildings, Sites of Special Scientific Interest, Sites of Archaeological Importance) are subject to ongoing designation by other agencies.  Similarly the City Council can designate Conservation Areas, Local Nature Reserves, Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation, Tree Preservation Orders outwith the City Plan cycle.
