The City Council aims to build on Glasgows distinctive qualities to develop a dynamic, internationally competitive economy that creates wealth and provides quality sustainable work opportunities for all the residents of the City by:
i) maintaining a minimum 10 year supply of serviceable, available and marketable land for industrial and business development;
ii) safeguarding Large Single User High Amenity sites for industrial and business use;
iii) progressing the Strategic Business and Industrial Sites Programme;
iv) implementing an industrial and business development programme for local areas;
v) improving the quality of environment within industrial and business areas; and
vi) maintaining the attractiveness of the City Centre as Glasgow's main office location.
