AIMS
The City Council aims to achieve population growth before the end of the Plan period, help retain families and deliver a choice of residential development opportunities to meet the demands of all sectors of the housing market by:
i) promoting the development of New Neighbourhoods;
ii) accelerating the delivery of brownfield housing opportunities;
iii) selective greenfield housing release;
iv) using density policy to provide a range of housing opportunities; and
v) supporting the Glasgow Housing Association and other rented housing providers.
