The areas designated ‘STADIUM’ apply to the four principal football stadia in Glasgow. These areas have a mix of uses, including offices, shops and parking facilities that relate to the operation of their primary use as football grounds. Development will only be supported that relates to the commercial operation of the primary use. Development applications should be submitted within the context of a masterplan for the area. The Council will seek to maintain and improve the quality of the environment of these areas by supporting developments that enhance their amenity and urban design quality.
