You can find out information on sites or property by using the  City Plan Maps

 

Part 2 of the Plan (the Development Strategy: Propsoals and Priorities) is supported by a PROPOSALS MAP showing the location of the proposals contained in the Development Strategy and a DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORKS MAP showing areas where further planning studies etc will be produced.


Part 3 of the Plan (Development and Design Policies) is supported by a series of DEVELOPMENT POLICY PRINCIPLES and ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY DESIGNATIONS MAPS.  Maps showing the Strategic Industry and Business Areas and Centres (town centres), and Public Accessibility Zones are also included.


Environmental policy designations (Ancient Monuments, Listed Buildings, Sites of Special Scientific Interest, Sites of Archaeological Importance) are subject to ongoing designation by other agencies.  Similarly, the City Council can designate Conservation Areas, Local Nature Reserves, Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation, Tree Preservation Orders at any time using other legislation, outwith the City Plan cycle.
