Glasgow Film Office

Glasgow has the largest concentration of TV, film, and video and broadcast activity in Scotland.  It is home to the HQ of STV, BBC Scotland, and the Channel 4 Nations and Regions Service. 

In recent years this tradition in broadcast has been boosted by the growth of a flourishing independent film sector backed up by a rapidly growing facilities and supply infrastructure.   More films are now being shot in Glasgow than ever.

The Glasgow Film Office is a partnership between the City Council, Scottish Enterprise Glasgow and Strathclyde European Partnership.  It has been established to:

• attract mobile film production to Glasgow
  
• assist companies identify and access film locations
  
• assist the development of the independent film sector
  
• promote the growth of film services and facilities companies
  
• promote the development of Film City Glasgow
