City Wide Investment Forum

 

 

The Investment Forum is the citywide consultative body that will act as the mechanism for the Council and relevant stakeholders to discuss matters arising in relation to Development Funding and other investment issues.

The Forum’s remit is:

  • To consider the resource allocation framework (including Area Development Frameworks) and make recommendations to Housing Development Committee.
  • To consider draft guidance to RSLs for their Strategy and Development Funding Plans (SDFPs) on an annual basis and make recommendations to Housing Development Committee.
  • To consider other relevant issues, consultations and research that have a bearing on the investment decisions that stakeholders are responsible for.
  • To review progress on the resource allocation framework under the Council’s management of development funding in the light of experience and to make recommendations as appropriate.

The Forum meets quarterly and the Minutes of Investment Forum Meetings are available for review. 

 

The Forum consists of representatives from the following organisations:-

  • Communities Scotland
  • Glasgow and West of Scotland Forum of Housing Assocaitions
  • Scottish Federation of Housing Associations
  • Glasgow and Clyde Valley Structure Plan Team
  • Glasgow Housing Assocaition
  • Glasgow City Council: Officers from Development and Regeneration Services and Social Work Services

The Forum is chaired by the Executive Member for Housing Development on the Council's Executive Committee.
