Local Housing Forums
Ten Local Housing Forums have been established across the city to facilitate local engagement between housing providers and other stakeholders in relation to strategic housing planning and other associated community matters.
The move to Community Planning Partnerships (CPPs) and the shift to multi-member electoral wards in May 2007, required a rethinking of how the local context is handled in terms of boundaries and the engagement framework for housing planning. Community Planning will now be delivered through 10 CPPs and in conjunction with these changes in community planning, ten Local Housing Forums (LHFs) have been established which mirror the boundaries of the CPPs.

The broad remit of the forums is to deliver locally on the six main aims of the Local Housing Strategy.
