GIS/Cartography/Property Section
The Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Cartography & Property Section operates within Development & Regeneration Services. It provides the following services:-
Corporate Address Gazetteer (CAG).
The GIS/Cartography/Property Section manages and maintains the Corporate Address Gazetteer (CAG) on a daily basis. The CAG provides the definitive list of addresses for property within the Glasgow City Council area. It contains details of all statutory addresses allocated under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982, Section 97 (Street naming and Numbering). It is compliant with the BS7666 Standard. The Glasgow City Council CAG is uploaded to the National Address Gazetteer on a regular basis.

Property Enquiry Certificates (PECs).
The GIS/Cartography/Property Section operates a Property Enquiry Certificate service. The PEC is a standard report on information regarding Statutory Notices and other legal orders and regulations and includes a map of the property. A PEC is produced and sent to the enquirer, generally within 24 hours of receipt of request. The cost of a certificate is currently £59.00.
