Liquor Licensing

The Board deals with applications for Public House, Hotel, Restricted Hotel, Entertainment, Off Sales, Refreshment and Restaurant licences.

The Board also deals with Occasional Extensions and Permissions under Sections 33, 64 and 34 of the Act.  Click here for Guidelines on these.

Licensing Application forms may be downloaded but must be submitted with the appropriate fee by post or in person to the address below.

The Licensing Board has a number of policies which relate to various licences under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 1976. Further information in realtion to the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 will appear hear shortly. To view a summary of these policies click on the link below.

• Amusement with prizes Permit - Fruit Machines Grant/renewal in premises with an Entertainment licence
• Amusement with Prizes Permit - Fruit Machines Grant Renewal in premises in a Public House
• Confirmation of a Licence*
• Childrens Certificate - Grant Renewal
• Finalisation of a Provisional Grant*
• New Grant of a Licence-including a Provisional Grant 26(1) and 26(2)* 
• Occasional Licence Section 33- form must be completed in triplicate
• Occasional Licence Section 34- form must be completed in triplicate
• Occasional Licence Section 64- form must be completed in triplicate
• Permanent Transfer of a Licence*
• Regular Extension of Permitted Hours - Annual
• Renewal of a Licence*
• Substitution of a Licence*
• Temporary Transfer of a Licence*
