An application for the Grant of a Licence must be accompanied by the registration document for the vehicle concerned. If the vehicle has yet to be purchased a declaration must be completed (see link below).
If applying for a Renewal, the minimum period is two years.
Fees for lodging an application are as follows:

Payment can be made by cash, cheque (in the applicant's name or someone named on the application form) or postal order.
These fees are non-refundable. A temporary licence may be issued for a period not exceeding 6 weeks.
