Butcher's Shop Licensing

 

 

Under the Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) (Butchers' Shops) Amendment (Scotland) Regulations 2000 licenses are required for all butcher's shops, i.e. premises in which unwrapped raw meat is handled and from which both raw meat and ready to eat foods are sold to consumers.

 

To enable you to apply for a Butcher's Shop Licence, the application form  below can be downloaded, completed and returned with the appropriate fee to the Licensing Section.
