Trader Requirements
Trader Requirements
Traders must provide their own stalls, covers and stabilising weights and be prepared to work in all weather conditions.
Traders are required to obtain Public Liability Insurance with a minimum Indemnity cover of £500,000 prior to being allowed to trade at Glasgow City Council’s Retail Markets. A Pitch/ Trading space will only be allocated on receipt of Public Liability Insurance.
Traders engaged in the sale of meat, fish and poultry or traders who operate catering units must possess certification of compliance from the relevant authority.
