Accommodation for Richmond Model Boat Club

Within Richmond Park, a new clubhouse for the Richmond Model Boat Club will be provided in a free-standing building, extending to 133 square metres in floor area.  This will be situated close to a car park, unlike the existing clubhouse which requires vehicular access through the park.

The Richmond Model Boat Club was founded in November 1984, although its current meeting place probably dates from the 1920s.  Today the club has over 70 members of all ages, male, female and junior, and from a wide range of occupations.  Sailing normally takes place on Wednesdays and Sundays at the Richmond Park Pond.  New members are welcome, and interested persons can find out more by clicking on the following link:
