Estimates

The City Council produces Population, Households and Dwelling estimates for (1) Wards, and (2) Community Health and Care Partnership (CHCP) areas, Local Housing Forum (LHF) areas and neighbourhoods. 

Population and Household estimates for each year from 2001 to 2007 can be downloaded in PDF format below.

Projections

The City Council has produced Population and Household projections for Glasgow City, the Community Health and Care Partnership (CHCP) areas and the Community Planning Partnership (CPP) areas. The PDS Committee Report and the briefing paper with summary results were issued on the 15th April 2008. Subsequently some papers with more detailed projection results have been issued. The Detailed Results Projection City paper contains a comparison with recent projections from the General Register Office for Scotland. The report and papers can be downloaded in PDF format below:

City projection results are for 2006-2026 and CHCP/CPP area projection results are for 2006-2016. Glasgow's 10 CPP areas have the same boundary as the 10 Local Housing Forum (LHF) areas.
