Estimates
The City Council produces Population, Households and Dwelling estimates for (1) Wards, and (2) Strategic Planning Areas (SPA), Local Housing Forum (LHF) areas and neighbourhoods.
Glasgow's 10 Community Planning Partnership (CPP) areas have the same boundary as the 10 Local Housing Forum (LHF) areas.

The population estimates by ethnicity from the 2001 Census have now been updated. Details on the 2010 estimates for Community Planning Partnership (CPP) areas and Neighbourhoods can be downloaded in PDF format below.
2008 estimates of the number of people with a disability have been prepared for the City, Community Planning Partnership (CPP) areas and Social Work Services Planning areas. These estimates can be downloaded in PDF format below.

Projections
National Records of Scotland (NRS) has published its' latest population projections for all Council and Health Board areas in Scotland on 29th February 2012. The paper "2010-base projection results for Glasgow" gives the results, for Glasgow, of these projections. In addition, the Council has prepared household projections based on the NRS population projections. The household projection results are also given in this paper.
A second paper compares demographic change in Glasgow's deprived areas and the rest of the City since 2001.
