Commercial waste disposal service

An alternative to having trade waste collected from business premises is to take it to one of the city's waste transfer stations. These are located at Dawsholm, Polmadie, Queenslie and Shieldhall.

Opening Hours for the waste transfer stations are detailed below.

Monday to Thursday      07:00-16:00

Friday                          07:00-15:00

Saturday                      08:00-11:30

Sunday (Polmadie only) 08:00-11:30

The disposal charge is based on the weight of the disposed refuse.

Confidential waste

Environmental Protection Services would be pleased to provide a competitive quote for the provision of a special uplift and disposal service for confidential waste.

Clinical waste

A collection and disposal service for Grade E clinical waste can be provided and a competitive quote can be provided on request.
