Trading Standards Unit

TSU main purpose is to protect consumers and legitimate traders from unfair trading and unsafe goods. This is done through the enforcement of laws relating to Trading Standards and Consumer Protection and also by offering advice and assistance to consumers and the business community.

Consumer Protection form Unfair Trading Regulations 2008

These Regulations introduce a general duty not to trade unfairly and seek to ensure that traders act honestly and fairly towards their customers.
