  • all goods should be priced.  Prices should be clear, visible and accurate
  • any descriptions applied to goods should be accurate
  • all goods should be safe.  Particular care should be taken over goods intended for children such as toys or children’s’ nightwear
  • you should not sell counterfeit or pirate goods
  • if goods sold are faulty the customer should be offered a refund
  • you must not display “No Refunds” signs
  • if you sell by weight or measure you must use accurate and legal equipment.  You should only sell in metric quantities and any equipment used must be capable of using metric units
