Glasgow's wildlife on your doorstep

 

Land Services are planning a number of events this summer to celebrate Glasgow's biodiversity and to promote the city's new Local Nature Reserves.


The first event, Biodiversity for Life, takes place this weekend at Glasgow Botanic Gardens and is a must for anyone not familiar with what biodiversity is and what it means. 

 

 

Kenny Boyle, Head of Glasgow’s Parks said:-

 

 

“The event is an excellent opportunity for the public to come along and find out more about Glasgow’s wildlife.  There will be information stalls, guided walks and activities for everyone to enjoy.”

 

 

Biodiversity For Life takes place from 10am until 4pm, Saturday 3rd June, Botanic Gardens 730 Great Western Road.
