The Antonine Wall nominated to UNESCO World Heritage Committee
Cultural Secretary Tessa Jowell has announced that the Antonine Wall will be the UK's next nomination to the UNESCO World Heritage Committee bringing it one step closer to becoming a World Heritage Site under the Convention for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage (1972).
