Genealogy Centre
The Genealogy Centre has re-located to the Mitchell Library. The facility is run by Glasgow Registration Service and replaces the Genealogy Centre which was based at 22 Park Circus for the past 16 years.
Our new location will allow easier access to other resources available within the Mitchell Library that may be of interest to those searching their family history.
Please note below our contact details should you require further information or wish to make a booking.

The member of staff in attendance will demonstrate how to use and make the most of the facilities available. Please note the more accurate background information that you have the more likely it is that you will succeed in your research.
Records/sources available
On arrival you will be allocated a computer station for your own exclusive use. The statutory Birth, Death & Marriage Records for the whole of Scotland (1855 – 2009), Civil Partnership records (2005 – 2009) along
