Autism Alert Card
Do you have or know someone who has an Autism Spectrum Disorder?  Would it be useful to have some help when dealing with the Police and other emergency or public services? An Autism Alert Card is now available - see link for more information.

 

Care Inspectorate (formerly Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland)

The Care Inspectorate regulate, inspect and support improvement of care and social work services across Scotland for the benefit of the people who use them.  If you are unhappy with the standard of care offered by social work services or other care services then you can complain to the Care Inspectorate as well as making a complaint to us.

 

Carers and Disabled Children Act 2000

This Act came into force on 1 April 2001. It gives local councils the power to supply certain services direct to carers following assessment. The Government's aim is to support carers in their caring roles and to help them maintain their own health and well being.

 

Social Care Ideas Factory

Social Care Ideas Factory exists to identify, represent, promote and safeguard the interests of voluntary organisations, private care companies and registered social landlords providing social care in Glasgow, in order that they can maximise the support they offer to the people who use their services.


Young Carers

Part of The Children's Society, Young Carers work to create a national focus for people that work to support young carers and their families across England and the UK.
