Drugs & Alcohol: Where to get help

Glasgow Addiction Services organise and provide a range of services for people living in the city who are affected by drugs and alcohol.

We offer many specialised services that aim to meet the needs of individuals and families affected by drugs and alcohol. Services are currently delivered by the nine Community Addiction Teams (CATS), managed within five Community Health and Care Partnerships in the city.

What should I expect?

For individuals affected, an assessment of their needs will be carried out. Depending on the outcome, support services may be available to help the individual and possibly their carer(s) too. Glasgow Addiction Services may provide such services, while others will be provided by voluntary organisations.
