Alcohol and/or Drug Problem

Glasgow Addiction Services organise and provide a range of services for people living in the city who are affected by drugs and alcohol.  We offer many specialised services that aim to meet the needs of individuals and families affected by drugs and alcohol.

We will help to identify the main problems being caused by your alcohol and / or drugs, including the problems that your alcohol and drug use causes to family, friends and the community as a whole.

We will agree treatment and care which will best help you address these difficulties.  We ensure that you are fully involved in your treatment and careplans because we recognise that the more people have control and a major say in their care, the more likely it is that treatment and care will be successful.

Services are currently delivered by the nine Community Addiction Teams (CATS), managed within three local social work areas in the city.
