Adoption
Adoption is a service for children who cannot live with their birth families. We need adoptive parents from a variety of backgrounds who can make a permanent commitment to Glasgow’s children
Adopting children is rewarding but hard work. Learning to live with children who have suffered emotional damage can be very demanding. Prospective adoptive parents must have the ability to offer a stable, loving home to a child who, for whatever reason, is unable to remain with their own family.
It is important that prospective adopters think carefully about their work and family commitments and plan ahead to ensure that they have additional time and space to devote to a child.
It’s easy to take the first step in becoming an adoptive parent, it’s easy to contact us and take the next step.
