Could you be at the heart of someone's memories?

Right now, Glasgow needs more adoptive parents that ever before.  Across Glasgow there are hundreds of children waiting for a new family through long term fostering or adoption.

We need adoptive parents from a variety of backgrounds who can make a lifelong commitment to Glasgow's children.  You don't need to own your own home or be married to adopt or foster.  If you are gay, lesbian or single you can adopt or foster too.

Adoptive families are urgently needed for the groups of children who wait the longest.  Children over the age of seven wait for the greatest time to be matched with a family.  We also really want to hear from people who are willing to adopt siblings.

Adopting children is rewarding but hard work.  Learning to live with children who have suffered emotional damage can be very demanding.

Prospective adoptive parents must have the ability to offer a stable, loving home to a child who, for whatever reason, is unable to remain with their own family.

It is important that prospective adopters think carefully about their work and family commitments and plan ahead to ensure that they have additional time and space to devote to a child.

If you have ever thought of adopting then please take the next step now.

Could you be at the heart of someone's memories?  To support our memories campaign, celebrities have given us a memory and we have also produced a tv advert.
