Families and Children - Support Services

Glasgow City Council offers a variety of support services to families and children facing difficulties. These services are based in the local community and can be accessed following assessment of the children's and their families' needs. We also provide support services in schools and for families.

The supports are individual to those concerned but may include individual one to one work, groupwork and respite. Occasionally situations may arise where more intensive work is required to avoid the need for children being looked after away from home.
