How can I access services from GTIS?
GTIS services can be accessed using:
Phone: 0141 276 6850
Fax: 0141 276 6851
Service requests should provide GTIS with the following information:
language (dialect if known): date of interpreting assignment: time of assignment: name of the requesting agency: address of the requesting agency: location (if request is from a larger organisation, such as hospital - ward, floor, or area etc.): minimum details of the client (such as gender, name, address etc.)

What happens next?
Staff at GTIS will provide the user with an Interpreting Job Reference Number (Job No.) and confirm the arrangement of an interpreter. The interpreter will arrive at the requested time. The user preferably should brief the interpreter about the session.
At the end of the session, the interpreter will produce a triplicate interpreting session completion form. The user should endorse the time the session was completed. A feedback comment can also be added about the session.
The top copy of the completion form will come back to GTIS, the second copy the interpreter keeps and the third copy is kept by the user agency for future reference.
