Homelessness Partnership RESPONSE pilot

Freephone Number 0808 202 1162

The RESPONSE Domestic Abuse Link Pilot is a 24-hour homelessness service for women experiencing domestic abuse who are also at risk of homelessness. The service is provided by Community Casework Teams (CCTs) during the day and by Outreach Link Workers during the night.

The service prioritises access to Temporary Furnished Flats (TFF's) for women with, or without, children who meet the referral criteria. Women can contact the pilot directly or be referred by another agency. While the majority of people who use RESPONSE are women, the service is also open to men and people in same sex relationships.

To use this service during the daytime, contact your local  Community Casework Team (CCT). Caseworkers can support you in a planned way, helping you to move to alternative accommodation when this becomes available. By planning to leave, you will be able to make arrangements for your children if you have any and to take furniture or belongings with you.

If you want to leave immediately, Community Casework Teams (CCTs) will help you to access temporary accommodation, and will work with you to find a permanent tenancy. There are eight teams in Glasgow and their contact details are listed in the links above.

If you have any problems contacting them call FREEPHONE 0808 202 1162.

If you would like to leave when the Community Casework Team (CCT) offices are closed RESPONSE Link Workers work all night, every weekend and all public holidays. To contact the Link Workers, call FREEPHONE 0808 202 1162.

Link Workers can arrange transport for you to get you to temporary accommodation or a safe waiting place if you need it. They can also help with basic essentials like food or nappies. Link workers also arrange for you to work with caseworkers to find permanent accommodation.
