I live near a large secondary school and each day the streets are covered in litter after every lunch break. Can anything be done about this?
A:
We can contact the school in question. Our Education Officer can meet with the teaching staff and arrange to speak with the pupils. In addition, we can arrange for litter patrols to take place during school breaks and officers can take appropriate enforcement action if necessary.
