Even Glasgow’s youngest citizens are getting into the spirit of the Clean Glasgow campaign.
Six nursery school children from Govan Family Learning Centre in Drumoyne were among the latest volunteers to help clean up their local area.
And they captured it all on film with disposable video cameras.
For over an hour on Wednesday 18 April the children – dressed in high-visibility vests and armed with mini litter pickers – scoured Shieldhall Road and Drumoyne Road looking for litter.
They found plenty of crisp packets, cigarette ends, empty and full soft drink and alcohol cans and bottles, bags of building materials and mountains of dog mess.
Assisted by their helpers and the Clean Glasgow Environmental Community Action Team, the youngsters had collected two bin bags full of litter by the end of their video expedition.
"Ewwewuhh!" was their collective response at the amount of litter they found.
