Strategy for Inspection of Contaminated Land

Glasgow City Council is statutorily required to draw up an inspection strategy to deal with contaminated land in Glasgow.

This strategy sets out the Council's policy for the inspection of land and outlines priorities.  The strategy details a programme of inspection which the Council will follow to ensure the remediation of land to a level that is suitable for its use.  This will be achieved by voluntary action or by the service of remediation notices.

The Strategy can be viewed below.  Should you wish to make any enquiries about this document please e-mail them to public.health@eps.glasgow.gov.uk
