Glasgow City Council Land and Environmental Services staff will be involved in a variety of promotional activities this year including;-
• Busker Noise Awareness – Environmental Health Officers will visit street performers in Glasgow and advise them of steps they can take to reduce the likelihood of annoyance to offices and retail premises in the city centre.
• A display will be located at the entrance to the city chambers highlighting neighbour noise and dog barking together with advice on how such problems can be avoided.
• Dog Barking information leaflets/posters and promotional items will be made available in PDSA Offices. These will provide information on how this can be controlled.
• Information leaflets are to be mailed to Construction and Building Companies located within Glasgow outlining how they can minimise noise disturbance.
• Information leaflets are to be sent out to all Entertainment and Licensed Premises in Glasgow detailing how to reduce noise disturbance.
