Rivers

The River Clyde runs for 106 miles and through the centre of Glasgow for its final 20 miles from Glasgow city centre to the Clyde Estuary.

The river has been very important in Glasgow's maritime history, particularly the development of the shipbuilding industry during the 20th Century.

The River Kelvin is Glasgow's second river and runs through the north of the city.
