Activity: |
The review sought to encompass the significant development opportunities and proposed investment in the area, through retaining the 12 block form of the 2002 Local Development Strategy by:
- Creating an area of mixed uses with increased densities at the river edge, M8 motorway and railway line;
- Investing in high quality public realm at the waterfront and a new civic square at Tradeston/Wallace Street;
- A network of home zones to create linked amenity spaces to enhance the environment and use of destination and event spaces;
- Promotion of sustainability in terms of urban design and building practices
