Target: To create a national event to attract visitors and users to the River Clyde.
Status: Richmond Events Management has been appointed for the three years, beginning 2005, to deliver the River Festival.
Activity:

The River Festival has been a great success attracting visitors to the city.

An annual River Festival is based in and around the Science Centre and Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.

The River Festival takes place on Saturday and Sunday of the Glasgow Fair holiday weekend. As part of the city's calendar of events, the River Festival will be a significant attraction for both residents and visitors.

The programme includes visiting vessels, Zapcat races, and music, fun fair and street performers.
