Schools Mountain Bike Challenge
The Glasgow Schools' Mountain Biking Challenge is being run by a partnership led by LES, Glasgow Life and Scottish Cycling with financial support from the “Cycling to School” campaign.
Three races will take place in Cathkin Braes Country Park, the venue for the 2014 mountain bike events, each restricted to different age categories.
The first event will start at 11:30. Entries are by invitation to secondary schools in Glasgow, focusing on the schools that are involved in the “Cycling to School” campaign, the Council’s “School Bicycle Loan Scheme” and the Glasgow “East End on the Move” campaign.

Bicycle Users Group Cycle Ride 12.30 pm
The annual BUG ride from City Chambers to Kelvingrove Park and back again. Route map coming soon. All welcome. |

Stalls, Cycle Swap Shop, Hill Climb, Mini Downhill Junior Race, “Try Cycling”, Conference Bike, Tweed Ride, Dr Bike, Led Rides to the new Riverside Museum,
Route Maps, Barbecue and much, much more.
If you have a rare, vintage or just downright cool ride, show off your pride and joy and the Glasgow Life Bike Show. Catagories – Single Speed, Geared Road Bike, Mountain Bike and Custom.

Pedal to the Picnic
The LHM charity ride is a 16 mile cycle ride starting at the SECC heading west and returning back via the Kelvin Way to the park. There’s food and goodie bags for riders too.
