City Centre - Residents' parking permits

 

Glasgow City Council has made a traffic regulation order, the effect of which, amongst other things, is to allow residents of eligible properties within the existing city centre controlled parking zone to purchase permits for on street parking.

Permits will cost £250 per annum or £65 per quarter.  The order became effective on 30th June 2003. 

Only resident permit holders are entitled to park in any designated Pay and Display bay in the vicinity of their residence without time limit. 

To be eligible to purchase a permit you MUST keep a car and reside in a dwellinghouse built or converted, for residential use prior to 1st JANUARY 2000, within the area as detailed on the map below:
