Glasgow benefits from direct links to major cities in the UK and Europe through its extensive road, rail and air network.
There is a comprehensive integrated bus, rail and underground network serving the city and the Greater Glasgow Area - including East Kilbride, Bishopbriggs and Clydebank.

Our aim is to have a city where people use their cars only when necessary and to ensure that alternative modes of transport such as buses, trains, cycling and walking can be used for most journeys.
