Route Description
The corridor extends along Park Road from Great Western Road to Woodlands Road and continuos east to the city centre at St Georges Road.
Implementation
Works on the Woodlands Road Streamline corridor were substantially completed in May 2005.
The main elements of the scheme comprise:-
- 2 bus stops moved to improve local parking and loading facilities.
- 4 high access kerbs provided to improve access to buses.
- 59 new off peak pay and display parking spaces provided on Woodlands Road.
- 9 loading bays provided.
Initial Review
The initial review (PDF 339k) of the measures implemented is ongoing for this corridor. The initial review report covering Woodlands Road was circulated for stakeholder consultation in March 2007.
Following consideration of the feedback received from stakeholder consultation on the above reports, the following amendments are being progressed.
