Streamline - The Consultation Stages

Prior to work commencing on site on the Streamline Corridors, the scheme progressed through a number of consultation stages as detailed below.

Each of these stages provided the opportunity for members of the public and interest groups to comment and assist in the development of the proposals.

Initial Voluntary Consultation

  • Initial Voluntary Consultation - Stage 1
This stage involved distribution of a general leaflet outlining the proposals, a series of exhibitions adjacent to the route and a pre-paid return questionnaire. These methods were used as a means of obtaining initial feedback from members of the public.

  • Initial Voluntary Consultation - Stage 2
This stage involved a series of local area Workshops where representatives of the local community, businesses and other transport interest groups were invited to attend and assist in the development of the proposals in their area.

The following Stages are required for any changes to the existing Traffic Regulation Orders
