A major aspect of Glasgow East End on the move is the improvement of the built environment in your communities.

Most of these improvements will be focussed on 3 corridors running through the area, Gallowgate, London Road and the Clyde walk and cycle way. In addition to this, general improvements to the signage, lighting and appearance will be undertaken throughout Calton, Parkhead, Dalmarnock, Bridgeton and Gallowgate.

  • Gallowgate

    The Gallowgate is an important part of Glasgow’s history, and has helped shape Glasgow into the city it is today.
  • London Road

    London road has always been an important road between the east and Glasgow City.
  • Clyde walk and cycle way

    The banks of the Clyde form a peaceful retreat from the bustle of the city, well known to fishermen, dog walkers, cyclists and runners.
